KosherDelight was founded in Johannesburg in mid-2021 by Eddie Rabbie and Ephraim Muchanyu, who between them bring more than 15 years in kosher catering. The focus is dependable, professionally presented certified kosher catering for the healthcare, corporate, travel and hospitality sectors — with reliable delivery and Shabbos-aware scheduling built into how the business runs.

Co-Founder & Director · Operations & Hospitality

A qualified chef with a Diploma in Hotel Management, Eddie has run restaurants, coffee shops and worked across numerous food franchises. At KosherDelight he leads operations, client relationships and event coordination — making every booking straightforward, from a boardroom breakfast to an airline order.

With more than 15 years in kosher catering, Eddie ensures every client receives reliable service with Shabbos-aware scheduling and 24-hour turnaround on orders built in as standard.

Ephraim Muchanyu

Co-Founder & Director · Executive Chef

A Culinary and Hospitality School graduate (1999) with a City & Guilds Diploma, Ephraim has trained across diverse cuisines in catering companies and hotels. He holds further certificates in Health & Safety, HACCP, First Aid and Food Safety, and leads KosherDelight's kitchen standards and kosher compliance.

Ephraim's formal training and institutional-grade food safety credentials underpin the consistent standard that hospital, airline and corporate clients depend on.
